Dr Heidi Baker

As a certified coach with experience working across both Australia and New Zealand I bring a depth of knowledge around the pressures and challenges of health care, also excitement about the future. I have worked in Emergency Medicine for 15 years, and paediatrics for 30. I currently run a private paediatric practice in Auckland and Queenstown, New Zealand. My career has been a little more like a “choose your own adventure” and I wish I had access to coaching in my formative years. I am excited to bring experience in coaching hospital doctors, GPs, and trainees preparing for exams alongside women returning to work at the crossroads of work-life journeys. Having returned to work following two health scares in recent years – now more than ever I am aware we need to take care of ourselves and of each other to keep showing up as clinicians.
